Daniel Brila is the founder of Account Right, a Wollongong-based accounting firm dedicated to helping small businesses across the Illawarra region take control of their finances and grow with confidence. Over the course of his career, Daniel has worked with hundreds of small business owners — from trades and hospitality to professional services — providing practical, no-nonsense tax and advisory support tailored to the realities of running a business in regional NSW.
Daniel founded Account Right with a clear purpose: to give small business owners access to the kind of strategic financial guidance that was once reserved for larger firms. He has built the practice around outstanding client relationships, straight-talking advice, and a genuine understanding of the challenges facing Australian SMBs — from cash flow and tax planning to structuring for growth.
Before establishing Account Right, Daniel gained extensive experience working across public practice and industry, advising clients on tax compliance, business structuring, and financial performance. That breadth of experience shaped his belief that great accounting isn’t just about lodging returns — it’s about being a trusted partner in a business owner’s corner, year-round.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a CPA Australia member. He is based in Wollongong and remains deeply connected to the local business community, regularly supporting networking groups and business events across the Illawarra region.
